Celebration of the First Turning of the Wheel of Dharma

For seven weeks after his enlightenment, the Buddha did not teach.
Then, encouraged by Indra and Brahma,

the Buddha turned the Wheel of the Dharma for the first time, in Sarnath, India,
teaching the Four Noble Truths.

~ the truth of suffering
~ the truth of the origin of suffering

~ the truth of cessation
~ the truth of the path

Dza Kilung Rinpoche
will be giving a short teaching on ZOOM about the
Four Noble Truths
followed by reciting mantras and lighting candles.

Wednesday, July 14th
5:30 – 7 pm
