Presentation about the Kilung Shedra and Dzachuka Community in Tibet

Dza Kilung Rinpoche is currently on the high plateau of Tibet overseeing the construction
of the Kilung Shedra and Community Center serving his nomadic tribe.
It includes a temple, classrooms and dormitories for the traditional 9-year program
for monks studying the philosophy of Buddhism, as well as
classrooms for elementary age girls and boys, a Health Clinic,
and community space for traditional cultural and celebratory activities.

After a short meditation of bodhicitta, and the heart of compassion and loving kindness,
Choying Pema and Cary Peterson will be presenting a slide show and talk
about the shedra and its importance to the Dzachuka community.
The Fundraising Team will share about the need for funds
at the end of this summer’s shedra construction season.
There will also be information about how to sponsor
a child, monk or elder in the Dzachuka community.
